Home minister knows the way to affect Delhi violence, says MP Pragya Singh Thakur

The decisive powers are creating havoc within the country. the house minister knows the way to affect it," said Member of Parliament from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur on the recent violence in Delhi. She made the statements while on her thanks to the capital after appearing before a special NIA court in Mumbai.

On the difficulty of ongoing protests against NRC, Pragya Singh Thakur said, "When the kid isn't even born. it's already decided whether it's a woman or a boy and is already named by the people."

Since the recent rioting within the capital which has claimed as many as 38 lives, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had sought the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. Reacting to the present , Thakur said, "This is all done by her. that's why she is posing for resignation. Her morality was seen within the 1984 rioting and in Emergency. She doesn't have morality. On what basis is she posing for resignation?"

Pragya Singh Thakur further added, "This has gone too far. this could be controlled immediately. Whenever there's such quite anarchy by elements, then it should be quelled immediately."

Earlier on Thursday, the MP from Bhopal appeared before a special NIA court in Mumbai on Thursday. She is an accused within the Malegaon 2008 blast case. On Tuesday, the Bombay supreme court had come down heavily on the National Investigating Agency (NIA) for dragging its feet within the case.

Following this, the special NIA court judge VS Padalkar had asked all the accused within the case to require note of his order (passed in May of last year) directing them to seem before the court a minimum of once every week . Pragya Singh Thakur had last appeared before the court in June 2019. On being asked if she is going to appear before the court once hebdomadally , she responded by stating that she is going to come whenever the court wants her to return .

During the proceedings within the court on Thursday, Pragya Singh Thakur’s lawyer JP Mishra told the court that she would be appearing during the proceedings of the court. However, the witness who was to be presented before the court by NIA didn't appear. a complete of 140 witnesses are delivered to court so far . However, not one witness has appeared before the court since January of this year. The court’s proceedings bound up before expected and it waited for the MP to mark her attendance. She was in court for barely a moment . She signed, marked her attendance and left.
