The company helps local news publishers from rural and semi-urban areas digitize so they can access bigger markets and monetize their content via advertisements and licensing. NewsReach claims to have more than 100 million page views, 1,000 publications digitized, and 100 advertisers. Recently it raised an undisclosed amount of funding. The company says it will use the fresh funds to boost its technology, operations and marketing.
